Building Your Own Lists
The entire monitoring system is based on lists of collection criteria informally known as lists. You can begin using the system by relying on existing lists created by others. When you are ready to create your own lists click, the gear icon to the right of "MONITORING" in the left side panel of the monitoring page. This is the same side panel where you can find your saved searches.

The menu under the gear icon includes an option to "Add New List". When you select this option, you will see the "Create a New Monitoring List" form. The side panel will also change to provide easy access to the other items from this menu.

Name
Give the list a name to distinguish it from other lists. It is often useful to mention the platform in the list name.
Platform
The list will pull content from the platform selected here.
Enabled
A new list will be enabled by default. Uncheck this box to temporarily make the list inactive.
Type
The list type determines whether posts will be chosen by matching keywords or by taking everything from a specified accounts or channels.
Description
This is allows you to describe the list in more detail
Update Frequency
The update frequency, measured in hours, can be an of the following: 1, 2, 4, 6, 12, 24, 48.
Collect Historical Data
Public
Check this box to share this list with all Junkipedia users.
Shared With My Organization
Check this box to share this list with everyone in your organization.
